SHORT BIO
I have a PhD in Computer Science and I am Associate Professor at the University of Trento, Italy. I am interested in a wide range of problems related to multilingualism in computer systems and in Artificial Intelligence. My current research concerns linguistic diversity, natural language understanding, and semantic interoperability on multilingual and/or domain-specific data. In the last five years I have been pursuing research on health data integration and interoperability, especially in cross-border and cross-lingual contexts. I also like the practical side of things so I regularly participate in industrial projects where I enjoy seeing my research applied.
