SHORT BIO
Chris Emezue is a research student at the Mila - Quebec AI Institute and the founder of Lanfrica, where he focuses on accelerating the development of AI applications in African and underrepresented regions. He is currently enrolled in a master's program at the Technical University of Munich. In addition to his research work, Chris is also involved with Masakhane and SisonkeBiotik, where he focuses on natural language processing for low-resource African languages and machine learning for healthcare, respectively.
