#### WALZ is dedicated to support researchers and professionals in the field of photosynthesis.

The Walz Company is one of the world’s top producers of photosynthesis measuring systems. Our leading position rests on excellence in product quality, continuous improvement of technology, and development of new analytical potential. The current product line includes fiberoptics and 2D/3D imaging PAM fluorometers to evaluate photosystem II performance, dual-wavelength absorption analyzers to measure redox states of photosystem I, plastocyanin, and ferredoxin, and a high-performance CO2 gas-exchange system to determine carbon assimilation. 

The Walz Company has developed multilevel analytic systems enabling concomitant oxygen and fluorescence measurements, or simultaneous recording of CO2 gas-exchange, fluorescence and photosystem I.

Each year at our Annual Conference, we honour George Parker Bidder and Harold Woolhouse with two key Plenary Lectures. These lectures, along with the Cell Biology and OED Plenary Lecture, are given by scientists prominent in their field and are nominated by the committees of their respective sections.<br>
