SHORT BIO

I am an early career researcher specializing in the behavioural ecology of birds. I have been studying reproduction strategies for 12 years and in the last years I am specializing in the movement of birds, focus on migration. During my PhD, I specialized in breeding biology studies using the Magellanic penguin (“MP”-Spheniscus magellanicus) as a target species. Since 2017, I am leading a project on migration (with geolocators), carry-over effects, habitat preferences and anthropogenic overlap of MP and Rockhopper penguin (Eudyptes c. chrysocome). Also, I am co-directing a PhD on parental investment and foraging ecology (with GPS) in MP. I am interested in behavioral ecology and the conservation of birds.
